Cross Country for Ages 7 & up| Youth XC Meet Age Divisions & Distances | ||
| Age Division Name | XC Distance | Age Division Description |
| Sub-Bantams | 2000m | Born 2003 or later; Athletes must be at least seven (7) years of age on Dec. 31, 2011 to compete at the Junior Olympic National Championship. |
| Bantams | 3000m | Born 2001 or 2002 |
| Midgets | 3000m | Born 1999 or 2000 |
| Youth | 4000m | Born 1997 or 1998 |
| Intermediates | 5000m | Born 1995 or 1996 |
| Young | 5000m | Born 1993 or 1994 |

In addition, there will be the following NOT USATF cross country meets:
Castro Valley HS Invitational Sat Oct 8th 9:25 first race at Canyon
Plus the following middle school races for Canyon (which I coach) and Creekside:
Wed Oct 5 at Bancroft at 4
Wed Oct 12 at Creekside at 4
Mon Oct 24 at John Muir at 4
Wed Nov 2 at Alvarado at 3:50
Plus CVTC may compete Wed Nov 9th at Bay Area Champs at 3:50 TBD
